M&V Limousine has been around since 1993, offering the best of modern and classic vehicles for those looking to traverse Long Island in style.
With summer in full swing, there’s no better way to experience all of Long Island’s beauty and extravagance than by attending some of the many award-winning wineries that call our island home. And when it comes to traveling these vineyards in style, safety and comfort, no one does it better than M&V Commack Limousine.
M&V Limousine has been around since 1993, offering the best of modern and classic vehicles for those looking to zip through Long Island and Manhattan in style. They are not your ordinary limo company; what sets them apart is a selection of quality limos that their competitors can’t touch.
M&V has a fleet of over 70 vehicles, ranging from classic and vintage cars – including a 1937 Packard Super 8 limousine and a vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom – to sleek, modern models, such as Chrysler 300s, Mercedes Sprinters, party buses that seat up to 55 passengers and stretch SUV limos with all the extras imaginable.
Additionally, many of M&V Limousine’s vehicles feature stunning amenities including chrome ceilings, state-of-the-art lighting and music systems, touch-screen controls and phone jacks so passengers can actually DJ with their own tracks using their smartphones.
However, M&V has recently faced the same challenges as many Long Island businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they’ve managed to hang on due to the widespread popularity of their patented wine tours. The tours are something they’ve been offering for 18 years, and one of the few excursions they were able to offer last summer in the face of mandatory security restrictions, according to Renee D’Angelo, publicity manager and director of M&V office.
“Due to COVID, we were limited in the types of tours we could offer, but because people really wanted to get out and do something last summer, wine tours were our most popular option, and they gave us have really helped get through the pandemic,” she said. “We did more wine tours than anything last summer, and it was a big hit. It’s helped us out, and it’s helped a lot of people get out there and have fun.
Now that the pandemic is winding down as COVID-19 vaccinations continue to increase, M&V Limousine is proud to announce that it is offering its wine tours again this summer. For security reasons, guests are required to choose which Long Island wineries they wish to visit and arrange their own tastings in advance. formally, prior to COVID concerns, M&V would handle the installation themselves.
However, once the locations have been chosen by the client, they can count on M&V to pick them up and their companions at their respective homes and transport them safely to and from the vineyards of their choice, guaranteeing a Fantastic day trip and the perfect way for people to blow off some steam after being cooped up at home for the past year.
“Customers can let us know which wineries they’d like to visit, and if they’re unsure, we can offer recommendations,” D’Angelo said. “Additionally, we can also suggest other places, such as breweries and other places that might be interesting. It really depends on where they want to go and what they want to do.
And for people who may be looking for a way to experience excitement this summer but are still wary of the lingering effects of COVID, D’Angelo assured that M&V Limousine is still instituting industry standard safety protocols to to keep their customers and staff safe at all times.
“We have the partition in the limos separating the driver from the passengers, and we always clean and disinfect all surfaces of the vehicle after each excursion,” she said. “And of course we always encourage the use of masks unless customers have been fully vaccinated, in which case they are completely optional.”
Ultimately, summer on Long Island offers people the opportunity to explore and have fun that few other places in the United States can provide, and if you finally feel a little cabin fever afterwards having been cooped up in your home for the past year as the pandemic has run its course, a delightful winery tour courtesy of M&V Limousine might just be what the doctor ordered.
