Pascoe announces its latest design aimed at vessels in the broader segment of the market.…
British tender manufacturer Pascoe International has unveiled a new 12m limousine model.
The new design will provide superb craftsmanship for guests while they are transported from shore to the yacht, as well as during exploration trips and day adventures. “The new designs provide a continuation of the seven-star experience provided on the mothership,” said Tom Southern, vice president of Pascoe International.
The new 12m design benefits from a private guest cabin that can be fitted out in multiple configurations for ultimate owner customization. The craft can accommodate up to 12 guests in her luxurious indoor seating area, with further outdoor seating in the fore and aft cockpit bringing the total capacity to twenty-two guests plus two crew.
The aft boarding platform has been designed to hydraulically conceal itself, allowing guests to benefit from the full 12m overall length while en route, with the aft guest seats making full use of the available volume – a significant step up from to traditional layouts that lose overall length due to the integrated rear. platforms. “This arrangement is only feasible on larger tenders as on smaller boats the rig would impact access to the engine compartment and restrict service access to engines and drives” , says Southern. “On the 12m this is not the case as the engines are positioned further forward for optimum weight distribution so the platform does not impact maintenance access to the machinery space.” Guests can take advantage of the extra space when the hydraulic platform is extended (increasing the overall length to 12.8m) while allowing the safest possible transfer to the dock. Automatic doors at either end provide direct access from the forward and aft boarding areas at the touch of a button, and the aft bulkhead features a large integrated screen that forms part of the sophisticated audio-visual system.
This luxury tender benefits from extensive glazing on the sides of the hull and the superstructure, allowing to admire the landscape from the comfort of the interior cabin. “One of the main criteria when designing the 12m limousine was to ensure that customers could enjoy their surroundings while being fully protected from the elements. Extensive sections of glass were incorporated into the design to provide a uninterrupted visibility; this means that when exploring remote destinations, there is no longer a need to use an open tender to enjoy the scenery. Just imagine whale watching tours in an air-conditioned cabin! South.
As with all Pascoe limousines, the interior of each craft is fully customized to the tastes and preferred style of the owner. The modular design allows for different configurations with options that include a day head, pantry and individual private jet-style seating. The 12m Limousine and her sister ship Open Sport will be officially launched at the Monaco Yacht Show 2021. With a build time of just 14 months, these beautifully designed boats will be launched in no time.
